Here at*JFS Care*– a branch of *Jewish Family Services LA* – we are a non-profit, non-medical home-care for families throughout the Los Angeles area who are in need of caregivers for their elderly loved ones.

No matter what the circumstances may be,JFS Careprovides the support and companionship that is specifically tailored to meet our clients’ unique and diverse needs.
Responsibilities: * Provide personal assistance to elderly patients by attending to their basic needs, such as (but not limited to) showering, bathing, dressing and eating * Help with mobility inside the home, and outside (doctor’s visits, walks, etc) * Plan and prepare meals * Help with physical therapy exercises * Complete client’s shopping needs or accompany them to successfully do so * Perform light housekeeping duties * Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency, and always report any unusual incidents Qualifications: * High School Diploma or equivalent * Over 18 years of age * Current TB test (less than a year old)Up-to-date CPR and First Aid Certifications * At least a year of experience preferred * Home Care Aide Registration ID # (if not registered, we can register you here in our office) * Comfortable working in a one-on-one setting * Eager to improve and continuously learn new skills * Ability to perform all essential job functions with or without accommodations * Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation every single day * Available to work different shifts, including nights and/or weekends * Supportive and compassionate demeanor * Take pride in providing high quality care * Bilingual Russian speaker is a plus, but Not Required What We Offer: * Both full time and part time shifts * Weekly pay (every Friday) * Paid sick time * Mileage reimbursement (if you are driving for the client during your shifts) * Paid training * Free online training & CEU’s
