Responsibilities Provide personal assistance to elderly patients by attending to their basic needs, such as (but not limited to) showering, bathing, dressing and eatingHelp with mobility inside the home, and outside (doctors visits, walks, etc)Plan and prepare mealsHelp with physical therapy exercisesComplete clients shopping needs or accompany them to successfully do soPerform light housekeeping dutiesAct quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency, and always report any unusual incidents Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalentOver 18 years of ageCurrent TB test (less than a year old)Up-to-date CPR and First Aid CertificationsAt least a year of experience preferredHome Care Aide Registration ID # (if not registered, we can register you here in our office)Comfortable working in a one-on-one settingEager to improve and continuously learn new skillsAbility to perform all essential job functions with or without accommodationsValid drivers license and reliable transportation every single dayAvailable to work different shifts, including nights and/or weekendsSupportive and compassionate demeanorTake pride in providing high quality care What We Offer: Both full time and part time shifts Weekly pay (every Friday) Paid sick time Mileage reimbursement (if you are driving for the client during your shifts) Paid training Free online training & CEU’s We are an equal opportunity employer and prohibit discrimination/harassment without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws.by Jobble
