OverviewJackson Dawson is currently seeking an Automotive In-Dealership Performance Coach who will be responsible for delivering sales and systems training at select retail dealerships in the US.

Delivery will include in-dealership and follow-up training.ResponsibilitiesConduct in-depth product, service and technology trainingProvide product information and competitive comparison expertiseAnalyze, redesign and implement new sales processes including application of technology & digital solutionsMaintain positive relationships with assigned dealershipsAttend and participate in periodic trainer development sessionsPerform weekly administrative duties (time/expense reporting, status updates, etc.)Other duties as assignedQualificationsBachelor’s degree preferredMinimum 5 years of experience in a similar Trainer or Consultant roleSolid understanding of automotive systems and technologies (how they operate, benefits/drawbacks of different designs, etc.)Knowledge of the automotive industry, both from an overall perspective (manufacturers, models, market segments, etc.) as well as retail dealership operationsAbility to conduct effective Dealership personnel, process and technology assessments, consultation and action plan developmentAnalyze customer process pain pointsExperience implementing behavioral change and organizational transformation initiativesComputer proficiency (internet/email usage, file management, word processing, etc.) and comfort using presentation technologies including PowerPoint and audio-visual set-upTalent for public speaking with an ability to command the attention of groups (1– 20 people) in a way that increases interaction and keeps them engaged.Ability to engage dealership personnel at all levels (including management) and respond to questions/concerns in a positive mannerPresent to and manage groups in potentially disruptive/distracting environmentsExcellent organizational and time management skills including responsiveness to emails and phone calls
