Purpose: Prepare and execute testing activities in support to one or of the most challenges projects we have LAX. Responsibilities: Prepare and execute testing activities in support to one or several Projects and / or Programs initiatives or bids, for technologies of railway signaling under the direction of his / her hierarchy and in conformance with Alstom Transport policies and standards, applicable regulations, and professional standards (including EHS) Execute of specific Testing activities according to the testing procedure / documentation and Sub-system Leader a/o PrCOM instruction. Could support V&V team and perform test on platform / in factory as per request. Comply with EHS procedures. Perform activities with quality, especially Test reporting. Use the correct tools and equipment to perform the electrical and mechanical test activities. Ensure the equipment and tools in their care. Use and maintain PPE defined by EHS. Alert the hieratical superiors by any risk identified during the testing activities, and especially alerts any hieratical manager (Sub-System Leader, PrCOM, PM, RC TCM, …) if any EHS risk is identify. Education and Experience: Degree/Higher National Certificate (or recognized equivalent) in relevant engineering field Technical experience and expertise in rolling stock test & commissioning Strong IT skills and use of diagnostic software >2 years of experience in either Engineering or Signaling or on-board projects Management experience, able to motivate others Logical, pragmatic approach Specific Objectives for LAX : a) Able to execute tests: Post Installation Check-out (PICO), Static tests and Dynamic tests upon training on-job to be provided by the Test Leaders. b) Organized person reports consistently and in an objective way (daily logs, incidents, issues). Updates test KPI. c) Draft initial test reports. d) Curious and keen to learn. e) Able to use experience examples to understand the behavior being observed in the test. f) Upon 6 months, this person is expecting to be executed autonomously the tests already presented and start doing LOG analysis.
