IT Talent Management Systems Business Analyst

Job SummaryAECOM is seeking an IT Talent Management Systems Business Analyst to support our Corporate IT team. This is a remote/virtual position that can be based from a variety of locations in the US, Canada or Europe.This position will assist in the support and maintenance of talent management applications and their interfaces across AECOM. Coordinating with AECOM business stakeholders and 3rd party resources, and working under the Senior Manager Talent & Recruiting, this position will assist in requirements gathering, solutions design, configuration, development, testing and support tasks and activities for AECOM’s talent management systems, their interfaces, and integrations.Primary Responsibilities:Serve as a go-to IT talent management system analyst (SME) for business partners across our global operations for Smart Recruiters applicant tracking system and its integrations with Workday HCM.Analyze business requirements and functional change requests, negotiate priorities and timeframes.Identify omissions and errors in requirements and recommend optimum approach.Identify, evaluate, and document the impact of proposed changes.Present information on technically complex subjects in an understandable manner.Oversee the implementation of appropriate business logic as defined through requirements and solutioning process.Prepare testing documentation, undertake testing on systems and integration changes.Ensure business acceptance / sign offs are obtained and documented.Coordinate user training and development of training materials.Proactively monitor systems interfaces as required, identify issues, and action appropriate resolutions.Develop and regularly perform system change audits and validation and follow up with appropriate teams for correction.Identify, recommend, and track opportunities for process and operational improvements.Keep current with the latest versions of applications development software, techniques, and practices.At AECOM, we’re delivering a better world.We believe infrastructure creates opportunity for everyone. We’re one global team – over 50,000 strong – driven by a common purpose to deliver a better world.Minimum RequirementsBA/BS plus at least 4 years of relevant application support experience – preferably Smart Recruiters or similar talent management, applicant tracking, or recruitment systems – or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.Experience designing and documenting business process workflows, business requirements documents, and test cases.Customer facing experience, strong ability to facilitate meetings with stakeholders with competing interests, responsible for driving agreements and decisions, and determining when and how to escalate appropriately.Experience in supporting system interfaces including ETL and integrations.Strong understanding of both talent management processes, the modern HR environment, and its challenges.Knowledge of the principles, practices, and techniques used in information technology design and development.Self-motivating with ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and manage changing priorities.Ability to work autonomously under broad supervision is a must.Advanced Excel skillsPreferred Qualifications5 or more years of relevant application support experienceBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Human Resources, Management Information Systems, or IT related field is preferred.Extensive hands-on experience in configuring applicant tracking systems.Experience supporting global organizations with multiple business groups requiring foreign country localizations.Ability to troubleshoot hardware and software problems.Experience in implementing, managing data cleansing and migration projects.Experience in working across large projects or directly managing small to medium projects.Experience with Workday HCM is an asset.Strong data analysis skills is an asset.Basic database and SQL skills is an assetAdditional Information:Due to the remote nature of this position, relocation assistance is not available.Sponsorship for relevant country work authorization is not available.Offered rate of compensation (Colorado locations only) will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location.
