Since raising a $45 million Series A investment, the Output team is growing, and we’re looking for an experienced IT Systems Administrator who brings sharp and broad IT technical skills and experience.
In this role, the IT Systems Administrator will support our employees, implement new software and hardware, provide training, and assist in the development of an overall IT strategy. A successful candidate must be self-motivated, detail-oriented, and energized to be a central figure in Output’s growth.
How you’ll add value:
- Provide top notch IT support for all employees located remotely and at the Los Angeles office.
- Set up equipment for new hires and complete employee exit tickets.
- Order, track and maintain inventory of IT equipment, including reimaging computers and making repairs; new hire equipment and existing employee equipment.
- Maintain servers at Output HQ and other software and hardware peripherals.
- Perform repairs and replacements of software and hardware peripherals.
- Provide assistance to other team members when requested or for ad hoc requests.
- Maintain accurate documentation for system installations, configurations, upgrades and disaster recovery activities.
- Manage MDM platforms.
- Evaluate current and requested software services for security and redundancy
- Assist in the onboarding and adoption of new software services
What you’ll need to be successful in this role:
- Bachelor’s of Science Degree or 5 years of equivalent Desktop/IT support experience
- Knowledge of Mac, Windows and iOS administration in a corporate environment
- Experience in using a Help Desk based ticketing system; Jira preferred
- Experience supporting MDM software such as Jamf and Kaseya
- Knowledge and experience working with servers, VPN
- Skilled in network troubleshooting
- Ability to support and optimize Google Workspace
- Ability to work in a fast-paced professional work environment
- Must be customer service oriented, detail oriented and highly organized
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must have strong troubleshooting abilities and a desire for learning new technologies
- Empathetic
- Able to lift at least 50 lbs
