IP Administrator
Beacon Hill Legal Los Angeles is currently assisting a global law firm client with a search a Temporary IP Administrator.
This is anticipated to be a long term temporary project.
The work location is remote to start but if COVID restrictions are lifted, this position will be based in downtown Los Angeles.
Other office locations that can be considered are Santa Monica, San Francisco and the Silicon Valley.
This position will support the IP Patent practice with client service, desk management and legal and administrative support to the firm’s IP Patent staff.
Specific duties include:
Preparing documents for USPTO Office filings Handling administrative aspects of U.S.
patent prosecution matters Tracking case dockets Maintaining patent application files Drafting documents and maintaining spread sheets Managing calendars via Outlook Coordinating travel arrangements and inputting time and billing information.
Ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience as an Executive or Legal Assistant.
Previous experience electronically filing with USPTO, experience with CPI and IPDAS, exposure to international procedures preferred and strong attention to detail.
This position is remote until COVID restrictions are lifted.
