Position Summary:

The Inventory Planner is responsible for planning and preparing production schedules for manufacture of commercial products.

You’ll Do:
Review, manage, and maintain inventory levels to optimize inventory turns and maintain customer service levels of 99% fill rate Maintain vendor forecasts and analyze variances against forecast Analyze capacity constraints, MOQs, lead-times and vendor requirements to develop planning schedule Work with overseas vendors to ensure compliance with company standards and requirements Manage obsolete and excess inventory Create flash reports to Senior Management identifying performance against plans Other duties may be assigned

Bring It!

Bachelor’s Degree and at least 1-3 years experience in purchasing and material planning in consumer package goods industry preferred Certification in production and inventory management (CPIM) a plus ERP/MRP experience is a plus Prior experience working with overseas vendors is a plus Advanced Excel and Word skills required Advanced analytical skills required – able to process and react to vast amounts of data
