Inventory Control Associate

Whether you are an expert in the field of epigenetics or a researcher interested in integrating epigenetics research into your studies, Active Motif offers a comprehensive portfolio of epigenetics-related products and services and the support of our team of epigenetic experts to provide complete and innovative solutions to tackle your scientific inquiries.What’s the job all about?Ensures inventory accuracy and availability to support production and R departmentsMonitors and maintains inventory levels and replenishment to guarantee availability and minimize scrapMaintains and updates inventory management database to ensure accurate and current dataPerforms physical count of inventory, and reconciles actual stock count to computer-generated reports, including discrepancy investigationsProcesses incoming purchasing order receipts, tracks orders and investigations problems and issuesExecution of receiving, shipping, material transfer, kit assembly, and ISO compliant documentationReceives, unpacks, and delivers goods; re-stocks items as necessary; labels shelvesProcesses and documents returns as required following proceduresPerforms routine clerical duties, including data entry, ERP system entry, and ISO documentation completionManage and resolve issues regarding PO to invoice discrepancies, returns and quality problems with purchasingResponsible for implementation of plans for the movement of finished goods or raw materials within the facilityManages analysis of existing inventory levels using historical data through coordination with the supply chain teamCoordinates with purchasing to maintain inventory and minimize backorderCollaborate with internal customers and provide a high level of customer serviceCoordinates with Quality department to address quality issuesPerforms all activities in accordance with the ISO 13485 standardsProvide back-up support for supply chain functions including shipping, receiving, packagingMay be required to work overtime occasionally, as well as other duties that may be assigned by managerWhat you can offer?Education/Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent2 years of experience in inventory management and record keeping for a direct manufacturerComputer data entry and ERP experience, proficient in MS Office SuiteAbility to clearly communicate in English orally and in writingCompetencies:Core business systems knowledge (ERP system, others where applicable)Applied knowledge of transportation, supply chain, inventory management and warehousing disciplinesCompliance and quality (ISO)Warehouse managementEffective written and verbal communicationKnowledge of KPI and metrics reportingSuccess Factors:Strong sense of urgency and attention to detailExcellent organization, communication and follow-up skills Excellent problem-solving skillsCommunicates accurately and efficientlyMust be able to work flexible hours to accomplish assigned goalsAbility to self-direct and work with other departmentsAnalytical with methodical approach to problem solvingTime management: prioritize tasks to ensure that projects are completed by deadlinesWhat Active Motif can offer?Work as a valued team contributor Medical Insurance (M/D/V) 401(k) Robust PTO plan Fun team building events
