Eric Hammes, executive vice president of Enterprise Operations at 3MAn internship is a temporary position within 3M.
Interns typically work a full-time schedule throughout a 10-to-12-week assignment.
This position is limited to working 899 hours per service credit year.

Here, you will make an impact with the following: Primary Responsibility: Develop 5-year manufacturing capacity projection models and support 3Ms Capacity Review process using 3Ms capacity modeling tools.
Secondary Responsibility: Provide data analyses and support to on-going efforts to validate electronic representations of global Value Streams.
There is a potential that other Supply Chain analyses relating to performance improvement could be assigned.
These projects would be dependent upon the week-to-week workload requirements of the primary and secondary responsibilities listed above.The Safety & Industrial Business Group (SIBG) at 3MAs the largest of the four 3M Business Groups, SIBG provides products to industrial customers worldwide.
Our vast product portfolio includes personal protective equipment (PPE), tapes, abrasives, and connectors.
Your Skills and Expertise To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M is looking for candidates who must have the following qualifications: Currently pursuing a bachelors degree or higher from an accredited institution Must be willing to work remotely away from a 3M location as relocation for this position is not available due to on-site work restrictions due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include: Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree or higher in supply chain management, logistics, operations management, business administration, and/or industrial and manufacturing systems from an accredited institution Current cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale Previous or current internship or co-op intern experience Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment Excellent oral and written communication skills along with strong computer skills Ability to work on cross-functional teams Demonstrated leadership ability and organizational skills Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).
