Job Description Leading full-service defense law firm with a growing Insurance Coverage practice, seeks attorneys in the Los Angeles office with experience in insurance coverage at all levels, including individuals who specialize in insurance coverage opinions as well as those who concentrate in coverage litigation. This is an excellent opportunity to gain substantive experience. The attorneys in the Los Angeles coverage practice group have been designated as national coordinating counsel for approximately half a dozen large insurance companies. Qualifications JD from an accredited law school Experience in both third-party and first-party claims Experience handling policy wordings, reinsurance contracts, program management, auditing of programs and coverage for multi-million dollar judgments Admitted to practice in the state of California 3-15 years of experience Experience in areas of insurance coverage such as coverage opinions (CGL, Auto, E&O & D&O) and litigation, including the defense of extra-contractual litigation and excess claims with respect to various types of insurance policies Responsibilities Provide clients with insurance coverage advice on a variety of subjects, relating to a variety of different matters Communicate with clients and provide status reports Independently manage a caseload of complex insurance coverage and defense matters, working cases from beginning to end Represent clients in a wide range of insurance coverage and defense claims The firm offers generous PTO plan, excellent benefits and corporate discount plans as well as remote working opportunities and Professional development programs including in-house CLE and National Attorney Training.
