Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is seeking a 1st shift Military/Space Test, Manufacturing, Engineering Development and Test Equipment inprocess Inspector to join our Inspection team supporting the processing of inprocess manufacturing hardware at our Woodland Hills, CA facility.
The selected candidate will work in space test, manufacturing, engineering development and test equipment inspection areas verifying that the manufacturing and test processes are in compliance to the requirements of manufacturing and testing documentation.
A thorough understanding and knowledge of document verification is required to Acceptance Test Procedures (ATP’s) assembly drawings, assembly/inspection Instructions and test/manufacturing inspection documents that define material acceptability requirements.
The candidate must have the ability to read/interpret engineering drawings and ATP’s with experience in performing inspections with an understanding of applicable industry standards such as J-STD-001, IPC-A-610 and ES13038 or equivalent is highly desired.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of ten years’ experience performing inspections in aerospace, military test and manufacturing inspection areas with a proficiency using Microsoft Word, Excel, GOLD and SAP applications.
Must be able to understand and interpret process procedures, drawings, and other documentation that pertains to test/manufacturing process/areas for Northrop Grumman operations.
Accomplish tasks mainly through direct supervision of non-exempt employees.

Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
10+ years of relevant experience and a thorough knowledge of military/space testing, manufacturing, engineering development and test equipment inspection environments Must be able to obtain a Secret Clearance which requires US citizenship.
Prior experience working in a fast paced, high repetitive motion environment.
Must have excellent written/verbal communication skills.
Prior experience working with J-STD-001, IPC-A-610 and ES13038, GOLD and SAP applications
Preferred Qualifications:
J-STD 001/IPC610/IPC620 Experience.
Experience with Microsoft Office.
Must be able to sit/stand for long hours.
Prior experience working with performance & test data inspection documents Prior experience relevant test and manufacturing inspection processes in the Aerospace Industry
