– ALL SHIFTS This position is responsible for providing protection service of Inmates while hospitalized.

Officers will maintain secured integrity of the hospital room and ensure the inmate is escorted and restrainted properly while in their custody.

The Hospital Detail Officer will monitor and ensure the behavior of detainees in their custody.

QUALIFIED CANDIDATES must have 2 years experience as a certified Law Enforcement, Corrections or Military Police Officer.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITY Specific Duties and Essential Functions Supervise and control detainee behavior during the detainees hospital stay and/or medical appointment(s); restrain by force if necessary, using handcuffs and other restraints Perform searches of detainee, hospital room and nearby objects capable of concealing contraband Transport or escort detainees (passive and uncooperative) using handcuffs and/or other approved restraints in accordance with strict policy and procedure Demonstrate a clear understanding and need for protection the confidential information of each detainee Communicate effectively and coherently with hospital staff, G4S Management, Agency Management and/or detainees with approved facility communication devices including the telephone system, intercom system, and portable or base radios Maintain all issued equipment including firearm, duty gear, hospital bag, radio(s), and uniform items in functional and professional condition as set forth by AUS policy ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES: 1.

Must be able to work various shifts and weekends, as dictated by the operational needs of the team.

Demonstrated ability to take initiative, successfully handle and prioritize multiple competing assignments and effectively manage deadlines.

Energetic and focused personality with a demonstrated ability to take initiative, successfully handle and prioritize multiple competing assignments and effectively manage deadlines.

Must be highly proficient and fully functional in all Microsoft Office applications and able to effectively utilize all available office management technology.

Professional, articulate and able to use good independent judgment and discretion.

Must have proven ability to maintain correspondence, discussions and materials in strictest confidence.

Must be able to work overtime as needed.

6.

Current state driver&039;s license, clean driving record (no points in prior 3 years), minimum level of insurance as required by Company policy, and ability to safely operate a vehicle required.

7.

Professional, articulate and able to use good independent judgment and discretion.

8.

Outstanding verbal and written communication skills required.

Ability to successfully interact at all levels of the organization, including with clients, while functioning as a team player required.
