Responsibilities We are seeking a mission-focused Information Systems Security Officer to join our team in Los Angeles County, CA supporting our DOD customers as part of Arcfield’s Mission Maintenance Future Requirements (MMFR) Program. Arcfield’s MMFR provides support services and solutions within the SkyRange Program for ballistic and hypersonic test missions at DoD, NASA, and other agency ranges around the world including broad ocean areas. We deliver mission planning, logistics, network and systems engineering, telemetry, data and voice communications, and cybersecurity support. In this position, you will have the opportunity to work with a team responsible for deploying, maintaining, troubleshooting, and integrating range instrumentation systems to support our Missile Defense Agency (MDA), Army and Navy customers and meet mission objectives. Responsibilities As an Arcfield Information Systems Security Officer you would be responsible for: * Certification and accreditation of computer networks and standalone information systems using government standards. * Prepare, maintain, and implement System Security Plans that accurately depict the customer’s contractual requirements. * Responsible for the oversight and accountability of day-to-day security operations of all the information systems (unclassified/classified). * Support all disciplines within the security program and ensure business needs are met. Works directly with program managers and system security engineers on all phases of system life cycle development. * Develop and implement security measures in accordance with applicable ICDs, NIST, and other guiding government regulations and local facility procedures. * Conducts ongoing vulnerability testing of the information system to verify security features and operating controls are functional, effective, and meet government standards. * Interact with internal and external customers or government security officials to perform security duties, address routine information security matters with employees regarding issues, report preparation and system security access briefings, etc. * Develops and implements facility procedures to govern marking, handling, controlling, removing, transporting, sanitizing, reusing and destruction of media and equipment containing classified information. * Responsible for changes to the classified system components, environment, and location including temporary relocation to another classified area. Assists Information Systems Security Manager; in reporting and mitigation of information system security incidents. * Initiates protective and/or corrective measures designed to prevent future incidents. Qualifications BS 5-7 Years, MS 3-5, PhD 0-2 Qualifications: * Bachelor of Science degree with 5-7 years of directly related experience or 3-5 years with Master’s * You must have a thorough understanding of Automated Information Systems and specifically NIST 800 series. * Proficiency with various computer applications and testing tools (MIcrosoft Office products, MBSA, Nessus, etc.). * Strong background in Risk Management Framework (RMF) and the certification and accreditation process of information systems and ability to write, review and coordinate system security plans. * Active Secret Cleance
