Please see our website for more job openings: https://altimetersolutions.com/altimeter-solutions-job-board/ Job Description: * Develops and administers security programs and procedures for classified, sensitive, or proprietary materials, documents, and equipment. * Researches and implements federal security regulations, maintaining knowledge and awareness of interdisciplinary compliance requirements (finance, cyber, information technology, and trade compliance). * Obtains rulings, interpretations, and acceptable deviations for compliance with regulations from government agencies. * Prepares manuals outlining regulations, and establishes procedures for handling, storing, retaining records, and access by personnel or visitors to restricted records and materials. * Conducts security education training and security audits. * Investigates security violations and prepares reports specifying preventive action to be taken. * Collects, assimilates, and interprets intelligence information and disseminates to the appropriate stakeholder or investigating authority. * Experienced professional with proficient knowledge of job area and practical knowledge of project management. * May manage projects or processes with general supervision. * Communicates with contacts inside and outside of own department to explain and interpret operational processes, practices, and procedures. * Recommends enhancements to systems and processes. * Works to achieve operational targets for specific programs and projects with moderate impact on departmental results. This role also includes support for software development. As an engineer on the team, you will participate in a development team that uses agile methodologies combined with mature software practices and a technology-supported development infrastructure. You will develop software and use enabling technologies to implement new capabilities and extend existing capabilities. You will help develop and maintain the deployed system, diagnose and resolve issues, and provide support to end-users as needed. Efforts can include working on a program into the maintenance or sustainment phase. Skills needed include: * BA/BS degree- at least 2-3 years relevant experience * Active TS/SCI Clearance * Experience developing applications in C# and C++ * Experience in developing engineering applications using a common GUI toolkit such as Qt, GTK, or XAML * Experience in developing engineering software routines in one of Python, MATLAB, or ENVI/IDL
