Competencies: 1.
Ability to use handheld RF Scan Device.
2.
Must be able to lift up to 50lbs., sit, stand and walk for extended periods.
3.
Must be able to twist, stoop, squat and reach above shoulder level.
4.
Ability to work in a non-climate controlled environment.
Position Expectations: Productivity:
•Meet established productivity standards specific to the account.
•Understand and be knowledgeable of all processing requirements (scanning product / labels via RF gun, product placement to stocking location / pallet & packaging).
•Understand packaging requirements, such as: applied dunnage to carton, product placement in carton, taping of carton, and package sortation by assigned small parcel carrier.
•Be able to take work direction from assigned lead.
•Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and specific customer work instructions.
•Complete the Handling Hours tracking document daily.
Safety:
•Follow established Product Handling processes.
•Report all incidents / accidents / potential safety hazards to management immediately for resolution.
•Perform daily stretches as outlined prior to commencing work.
•Follow established safety and security policies.
Quality:
•Full awareness and understanding of error and damage guidelines for the account being worked on.
•Ensure that the product being received and/or shipped is sellable and meets customer expectations.
•Ensure that scanning of product UPC codes / labels is accurate and correct.
•Complete all paperwork accurately and completely.
•Report all product damage to your management or coordinator immediately.
•Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and specific customer work instructions.
Initiative:
•Participate in daily pre-shift meetings.
•Participate in general area housekeeping.
•Knowledge of multiple accounts and/or job functions within given operation.
