Summary: The In-Home Outreach Counselor (IHOC) provides two main functions within the Family Preservation program.
The first function is that they offer families in-home outreach counseling on a weekly basis.
Secondly, are responsible for providing in depth case management services to ensure that families are adhering to the agreed upon service plan.
Position carries an average caseload of 13 families, which are to be visited a minimum of once weekly, providing in-home outreach counseling.
Position Location: North Hollywood, CA
Salary Range: $19.94 up to $27.03 per hour Additional $1.00 per hour bilingual Spanish differential.
Must have a minimum of a Master’s Degree from an accredited or State approved graduate school in Social Work (MSW) or related field of study.
or BA plus must have at least two (2) years’ experience in provision of direct services to low income and ethnically diverse clients.
or BA in Social Work or related field of study and currently enrolled in a Master’s Program.
Bilingual Spanish Required.
Valid California driver’s license; current automobile insurance; have and maintain a clean driving record acceptable to the organization’s insurance company; have immediate access to his or her vehicle during work hours
