IT Systems Administrator Games-Skybound Entertainment
Skybound Entertainment is looking for a talented team member to support our internal network and infrastructure team. This individual will be part of a small, tight-knit team supporting Skybound’s networks, systems, and applications. The environment is very dynamic and spans multiple regions. Ideal candidates are independent-thinking, motivated, and energetic! Candidates must be able to interface with others in the company to support and enhance the computer environment.
This is a full-time position available to work hybrid based out of Skybounds Los Angeles or North Hollywood locations working in the office for at least two days a week. Hours are flexible, with the expectation of working 8 hours a day during our studio’s core hours and being available after-hours for rare emergencies.
Reports: This position will report to the IT Manager
Responsibilities:
- Manage corporate computer systems and assets, including non-games departments
- Provide after-hours support for critical issues across all departments
- Support all company staff with resolving hardware/software issues (Windows and MAC)
- Perform advanced troubleshooting for all office computers, phones, and printers
- Performs all roles with a keen eye toward maintaining and improving our security posture
- Administrate Azure AD and group policy.
- Oversee network maintenance and documentation
- Provide VLAN and network switch configuration support
- Administer M365 applications, including Outlook, SharePoint, etc.
- Manage all application access and permissions
- Administer software deployments, security updates, and patches
- Manage data Backup and Restore functions
- Maintain software licenses
- Create and maintain documentation as it relates to Applications and Systems Support
- Other miscellaneous tech duties that may be assigned.
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in IT support
- At least 2+ years experience supporting video game development teams
- Experience with game engine source code management, such as Git or Perforce.
- Manage and maintain the game development server environment, including backups and disaster recovery.
- Experience with cloud-based server infrastructure, such as AWS or Azure.
- Familiarity with game development pipelines and workflows.
- Understanding of software development principles and programming languages.
- Capable of managing a hybrid workforce (remote and on premises)
- Operate internal conference room technology
- Manage SSO between Microsoft 365 and the company’s major SSO platforms
- Familiarity security best practices, including email, document, and virus protection
- Administrative knowledge of Dropbox, Slack, Zendesk, and Freshdesk and other company SaaS platforms
- 2+ years of hands-on experience with the following technologies:
- Microsoft Windows 10 and 11
- MacOS
- Microsoft 365 environment
- Microsoft Azure AD
- Microsoft Intune
- Addigy
- Adobe Creative Suite
- Jira use and administration
- Dropbox business Administration
- VOIP technologies

Job Type: Regular, Full-Time
Salary Range: $65,000-$80,000
- Actual base salary is dependent on several factors including but not limited to; market dynamics, location and region, experience, specialized skills/training (education), level of responsibility, budgetary considerations, tenure at the company (for current employees), etc.
- The salary range listed is just one component of the total compensation package for employees
- Compensation decisions are dependent on circumstances of each role
