Hygiene Assistant

We are a dental office. Our mission is To help the public achieve dental health so that they can keep their teeth for life!.

We are seeking a new Full-Time Registered Dental Hygienist to join our team. Your role will be to Proper diagnosis using the following available tools: Digital X-rays, Panoramic X-rays (that doubles as a 3D scanner), Itero Scanners, Perio Charting, Intra-Oral photos
Working with dentists to create new patient and existing patient treatment plans based on the above diagnostic tools
Implementing and maintaining our Perio Program
Presenting treatment (including fees) to patients (experience not necessary – just the WILLINGNESS; we can train you on presenting)
Perform excellent prophies
Perform excellent SRP
Perform certain gum procedures using our PerioLaser (no experience necessary – we can train)
Scheduling patients for their recare/recall appointments
Working with the scheduling coordinator to ensure your schedule stays full and productive
Help the dental assistants with Sterilization/Inventory/Room turnover when needed..

As a member of the Hygiene department, you will work with Dental Assistants, Doctors, Front desk and report to our Lead Hygienist.

What You Will Do:

  • Build and maintain relationships with patients and staff
  • Develop skill as a clinician incorporating new techniques in hygiene/perio
  • Discuss treatment with patients so that they are FULLY educated
  • Scheduling patients for their recare/recall appointments BEFORE they leave

What You Will Bring:

Our ideal candidate will have less than a year of relevant experience and the following credentials/skills:

  • Vocational Degree or Certification
  • X-Rays
  • Dental Prophylaxis
  • Scheduling Appointments
  • Dental Terminology
  • X-Ray Certified

Salary range for this position is $85,000 – $105,000 per year (plus bonus/commission). We offer the following benefits:
