About the Role
The Hydro Blast Technician will perform a wide range of physical activities that require strength and flexibility of whole body for handling, positioning, moving, and manipulating equipment and materials associated with Industrial Cleaning operations and high-pressure water blasting. Services will be provided in an industrial setting and may require confined space work. This is a non-union role.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Drives and operates Liquid Vacuum Truck and/or Air mover vehicles.
- Operates and sets up all necessary cleaning equipment such as high-pressure pumps, in service line hydro-blasting equipment and Tank Cleaning equipment such as hoses and pumps.
- Completes all safety paperwork and complies with all operational training, guidelines, and operational procedures.
- Adheres to all safety policies and practices, including use of personal protective gear.
- Works safely in and around heavy machinery in loud, hazardous, and heavy industrial settings (i.e. refineries, Power plants, etc.).
- Cleans, installs, fits repair valves, caps, hoses, pumps, gaskets, and all other external and internal equipment on tanks.
Qualifications
What You’ll Need for Success
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Valid Class A or B CDL is required with Tanker endorsement; or willingness to obtain it.
- Hydro blasting or pressure cleaning experience required.
- General refinery and plant experience is a plus.
- Must be willing to travel to client sites (Local or out of state).

- Technology adept.
- Personal Protective Equipment provided.
- Candidates must undergo a physical examination and complete pre-employment screenings such as driver’s abstract review and drug and alcohol test.
