– IT The Executive Assistant to the VP of IT and CIO in Boston, MA will be responsible for a broad range of administrative and coordinator duties as they become an important part of a fast-growing team.
This person will be responsible for organizing the day-to-day activities of the VP/CIO while assisting in operational functions of the department.
An ideal candidate is responsive, thoughtful, self-directed, positive, and seeking a challenging role.
This position performs a variety of duties involving multiple high-level administrative projects and assists other leaders to relieve him/her of many time-consuming details.
The Executive Assistant must exhibit the utmost level of professionalism and use strong interpersonal skills to build relationships with the leadership team.
The Executive Assistant will maintain a high degree of confidentiality and will need to exhibit discretion when handling sensitive information.
The ideal candidate will have: Experience maintaining complex and detailed calendars and managing calendar conflicts as they arise, and delegate meetings as required Strong executive presence and communication/presentation skills.
Highly refined influence, teamwork, judgement, and decision-making skills Operates effectively with a high degree of independence and ambiguity.
Resilient and adaptable to constantly changing business priorities collaborative and approachable Diplomacy to represent the business at all levels of the corporate hierarchy which includes interacting with various executive level clients and internal constituents across all lines of businesses.
Experience planning and managing employee events Handle regular activities without prompting, and advise in advance with issues or delays Lead and coordinate on ad hoc projects as requested Qualifications: Proficiency in Microsoft suite (MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) Effective interpersonal skills Superior oral and written communication skills Ability to manage competing priorities i.e.
calendar management Advanced ability to organize Tact and good judgment in confidential situations and proven experience interacting with senior management At least 5 years of administrative experience College degree is a plus
