About The Role
We are looking for a motivated People Partner (also known as HR Business Partners) to join our growing People team. You will provide support to the practice groups within the firm and be responsible for driving People initiatives and objectives that will provide a people-oriented, high performance culture emphasizing Econ One’s values. The role provides strong partnership in supporting organizational development, performance guidance, policy interpretation, employee relations and day-to-day generalist activities.
You’re Excited About This Opportunity Because You Will…
Manage end to end employee success process, from onboarding to offboarding team members.
Primary point of contact and support for team members in providing answers to questions regarding HR programs, policies, procedures, benefits, etc.
Provide guidance on employee relations and conflict resolution.
Oversee firm-wide communication on all HR & People updates.
Assist with all company benefits programs – health insurance, retirement plans, disability, etc.
In partnership with our external immigration firm, oversee and coordinate the company’s immigration programs related to work visa sponsorship.
Handle HR administrative tasks as needed, supporting the People Specialist.
Ensure compliance with HR procedures such as audits, local, state & federal compliance and continuous improvement.
Assist hiring managers with recruitment efforts and providing support for posting open positions.
Handle additional tasks as necessary to ensure optimized partnership in support of the business.
Requirements
What It Takes To Be Successful…
You have 5+ years of progressive HR partnership experience.
A dynamic HR professional with a well-rounded generalist background in team member relations and engagement, payroll, benefits, compliance, and employee relations.
You have a proven ability to effectively coach employees and making recommendations to effectively resolve problems or issues.
Care deeply when it comes to helping and supporting a diverse group of people al all levels of the organization.
You are a team player with strong ethics, demonstrated discretion and sound judgement while working with sensitive and confidential information.
You are a strong communicator with the ability to drive organizational change through partnership with leaders.
You have the ability to analyze and interpret HR data, using it to help drive decisions and better understand workforce needs.
Track record of influencing, leading, and facilitating strategic initiatives with stakeholders.
Nice to Have…
You have experience working with remote teams in a professional services environment.
You have experience with employee wellness- planning events, team building activities and developing amazing employee experience.

The below represents the expected salary range for this position in California. We take a number of factors into account when determining compensation including your location, experience, and other job-related factors.
Salary Range: $90,000 to $98,000 annually + benefits
