Adecco is currently assisting one of our clients in the Los Angeles area looking for a Bilingual Spanish Human Resources Generalist.

This position is a direct hire position.

Responsibilities for this Bilingual Spanish Human Resources Generalist position include, but are not limited to:.

Recruits, interviews, and facilitates the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions; collaborates with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings..

Ensure background checks and employee eligibility verifications are completed..

Implements new hire orientation and employee recognition programs..

Reviews, tracks, and documents compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory training and continuing education i.e., harassment training..

Establish and develop an effective and positive partnership-based relationship with Managers and employees..

Assist employees in understanding the key resources issues and associated requirements to meet both current and future organizational challenges and needs.

This will require attendance at regular partnership meetings.

In addition, ensure deliverables are always met within the agreed timescales, unless formally agreed with customer base..

Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development..

Support our international HR Team remotely when needed and is appropriate..

Handles employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to HR leadership..

Attends and participates in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations..

Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance..

Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law..

Undertake specific business projects as directed by the HR Director to support the overall Business and HR strategy..

Active participant of the global HR team and ability to collaborate with all members..

To be considered for this Bilingual Spanish Human Resources Generalist position, you should:.

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.

3 -5 years of Human Resources experience with growing responsibility.

Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations..

Excellent verbal and written communication skills; bilingual Spanish a must.

Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills..

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail..

Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines..

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills..

Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software..

Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organizations HRIS and talent management systems..

Ability to use own initiative to address problems and present solutions.
