Our client is a major name in the manufacturing and distribution of sensor and wireless technology for the aerospace field. We are searching for a bright and diligent HR Generalist to join our client’s main operation in the city of Chatsworth CA.
This position is combination of HR work and Training work. You will be responsible for:
- Coordinating annual training including New Hire, Annual Hearing Conservation, Solder Certification and Harassment and Discrimination
- Managing companywide departmental training requirements, and making sure that everyone completes the training respectively
- Documenting and maintaining records
- Recruiting, and working with the office in regards for Staffing needs, and working with staffing agencies to negotiate mark-ups.
- Conducting candidate screening and coordinating interviews
- Aiding the Payroll department when needed
- Ensuring that all pre-employment paperwork (background check and I9) is completed
This is a full time, temp to hire position. First shift, from 7:30 PM to 4:30 PM. Monday to Friday.
Job Requirements:
This is what we are going to be looking for in your candidacy:
- You have at least 3 – 5 years of HR or Payroll experience
- You must be bilingual in English and Spanish
- You are familiar with ADP Payroll Systems
- You have thorough knowledge of HR principles and Federal, State and Local regulations
- You are proficient in MS Office Products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Preferably, you have a background in Recruiting and retaining talent
- As a condition of employment, you may be asked to take and pass a background check and/or drug test.
