Employment Type: Contract, approximately 2 months, 40 hours per week

Duties and Responsibilities

* Partner with Human Resource leaders, Senior Leadership teams & other cross-functional teams in

updating and evolving the Human Resources processes and playbook.

* Providing expert HR advice and guidance to staff, managers and executives (stake holders) on HR matters.

* Supporting stake holders in dealing with complex casework, performance, attendance, employee and labor relations issues.

* Providing advice and guidance to executives, managers and staff on employment matters.

* Influencing management and the leadership around the people agenda to maximize service delivery performance.

* Ensuring the smooth running of working parties to facilitate the delivery of HR policies, projects and initiatives.

* Conducting reference checks and exit surveys as needed.

* Conducting New Employee Orientation as needed and responsible for data entry of the employee profiles.

* Support Diversity and Inclusion activities.

* Assist our Human Resources Regional teams in troubleshooting employee and union relations related issues.

* Attract, engage, and retain talent duties when needed, building capabilities and address shortcomings.

* Proactively partner with the leadership teams to improve the approach and execution of talent acquisition.

* Partner with regional senior leadership team for all Human Resource related activities.

* Comply with safety, security, compliance and quality of standards and procedures established by the Company, Clients and regulatory authorities.

* Assisting with the benefits package for the security line of business.

* Responsible for HRIS entries and updates.

* Conduct background check authorizations.

* Schedule KOJ authorizations and schedule candidate for screenings.

* Evaluate job position gaps and work to fill according to contract needs.

* Conduct NEO sessions.

* Measure staff for uniforms, order and deploy to staff.

* Gather necessary documentation to onboard employee (Guard Card, vaccination proof, I-9 authentication) and upload materials to appropriate systems.

* Compile contingent offer letters based on position, successful background and drug screen execution/passing and contractual rates.

* Update the new hire packet as needed.

* Update NEO materials as needed.

* Ensure badges are requested, procured and sticker for COVID vaccination present on badge.

* Other duties as assigned.

The successful candidate will possess the following skills and attributes:

* Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or relevant related field required

* Resume that shows a steady progression in HR experience for the last 5 years in human resources

* Nuanced relationship building skills; possesses a high level of emotional intelligence and self-awareness and the ability to relate/influence across a diverse range of stakeholders

* Collaborative and team-player; encourages participation from all members of the team and seeks feedback and ideas from team members at all levels

* Client-service oriented; relishes the challenge of new finding ways to provide better, more efficient support

* Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, high energy environment with a proven ability to meet and complete multiple deadlines and tasks

* Experience with HRIS systems

* A critical thinker, constantly scanning the environment for ways to optimize processes, tools, and templates to manage complex and ever-changing business needs

* Excellent written and verbal communicator and strong influencer – has the ability to partner with people at different levels within and outside of the HR function

* Proficient in standard spreadsheet, presentation and collaboration tools, including Excel/Google Sheets, Google Slides and PowerPoint

* Build strong relationships and collaborates effectively across boundaries and cultures

* Travel may be required

**In compliance with the Department of Health and CDC recommendations, the following will be required:

* COVID-19 Vaccination & proof of vaccination
* Proper mask to be worn the duration of shift
– other PPE will be provided onsite
