The HR Generalist will assist with essential Human Resources functions such as recruiting, employee onboarding, payroll, benefits administration, HR analytics, HR systems, learning and development and more.
You will have the opportunity to participate in developing a long-term people strategy for a growing company in the investment management space.
This position will report to the Vice President of Human Resources.
What You Will Do:
Assist with and serve as primary back up for processing semi-monthly payroll.
Help develop and monitor HR analytics dashboard to ensure HR department is meeting business goals.
Become a super user of HR systems such as Applicant Tracking System (JazzHR), Performance Management System (Cornerstone), Payroll (ADP
– Workforce Now) and Benefits (Ease) systems.
Assist with software implementations as we upgrade our HR systems.
Assist with recruiting process, including conducting phone screens, coordinating interviews with candidates, and generating offer letters.
Assist Senior HR Generalist with benefits administration and billing.
Assist with onboarding new hires.
Manage filing and records maintenance.
Work closely with the VP of Human Resources to develop and execute new initiatives in employee engagement, performance and learning and development.
Assist with other general HR duties as necessary What You Will Need:
Extremely organized and detail-oriented.
Analytical and good at working with data.
Ability to effectively prioritize and manage a high volume of tasks.
Quick and enthusiastic learner.
Good customer service skills.
High integrity and ability to maintain confidential and sensitive information.
Enthusiastic team player.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, especially Word and Excel.
Minimum of 2 years’ work experience in a professional services environment, such as an investment firm, law firm, consulting firm, etc.
Experience in Human Resources preferred.
Experience with HR systems is a plus.
