HR Business Partner

The HR Business Partner is responsible for the support of day-to-day Human Resources operations, serving the ABM Onsite Services Group.

This person will help develop and deploy various national HR strategies, programs and initiatives aimed at strengthening the organization and building business capacity.

The HR Business Partner carries out responsibilities in the functional areas of recruiting, employee relations, training, benefits, compensation and HRIS.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES: Delivery of HR processes and services that meet quality standards established by best practices, company policy and internal customers, with a focus on employee /labor relations and legal compliance.

Proactively consult with business and HR leaders to determine business needs and align HR services to have the greatest impact on the organization.

Assist in driving positive employee relations and a customer focused HR culture.

Assist with the identification of recruitment needs and development of local and national recruiting plans to identify qualified candidates.

Review accuracy and completeness of all forms and documents required to process new hires, terminations, leave of absences, and other employee transactions.

Ensure that the appropriate forms and documents have been initiated for these transactions accurately and in a timely manner.

Create and maintain personnel files and companion files for all employees.

Assist in the HR Investigation process for employee hotline reports and other issues reported.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Current ABM employees and contractors will receive priority consideration.

Bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred.

Minimum of 3 years HR experience required.

Minimum of 2 years recruiting experience including sourcing and interviewing is required.

Experience with an ATS and HRIS is strongly preferred.

PHR certification is a plus.

Knowledge of employment law and regulations including FMLA, ADA, FLSA, EEO/AAP, Workers Compensation, unemployment and labor relations.

Must be proficient in Microsoft Office 2010 or higher including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

Bilingual in English / Spanish is preferred Must be customer focused, with excellent communication skills (written and verbal).

Solid organizational and problem-solving skills.

Self
– motivated, high energy, strong sense of urgency, and the ability to handle many projects simultaneously.
