The Opportunity…

We are looking to add an HR Associate to our growing HR team based in Playa, Vista, California.
You’ll get to learn how to integrate and onboard new employees, help craft an engaging cultural experience and manage your own population of junior talent.
How You’ll Contribute!
- 1.
Recruitment and onboarding (30%)
- Assisting with the scheduling of candidates and managing calendars
- ·Kick off and own onboarding process for all new hires including sending welcome emails, sending calendar invites, manage first day logistics
- I-9 management, E-verify
- Participate in HR introduction call
- Finalize profile integration in UltiPro Software including
- Helping out where necessary during the pre-boarding and onboarding of employees, i.e., staying in touch with them, answering their questions, sending them relevant material, and so on
- Maintaining swag bag and in-office tours for all new hires
- 2.
Administrative tasks (45%)
- un reporting for HR analysis on a weekly basis
- Answering all internal and external HR-related queries and requests
- Maintaining and updating employee records electronically
- Offboarding employees in UltiPro Software and notify all necessary parties
- Audit HR and finance data for strong integrity and assist with accounting audits annually
- Manage 401k administration and site management, approve loan requests / withdrawal
- Complete verification of employment within 24 hours of receipt of request
- In office incoming mail management and distribution, prepare / mail out 401k files, unemployment etc.
- Immigration management for all US based employees
- Assist with New Hire Orientation and organizing in office meetings
- Ad-hoc project assistance on a regular basis including file collection, deck preparation etc.
- Manage Learning and Development programs for all learning initiatives.
- 3.
Performance management (5%)
- Assisting with performance management procedures
- Assist with Semi-Annual Performance Review process
- 4.
Employee benefits (10%)
- Being the go-to person for employees with benefits-related questions and problems
- Manage the annual open enrollment for all US based employees
- Maintain and update employer and employee rates in UP
- Acting as the liaison between employees and insurance providers
- Administering employee health and welfare plans
- Tracking benefit plans (healthcare, retirement, etc.)
- 5.
Intern Program launch (10%)
- Source and hire 10-15 future interns for the first ever Centerfield summer intern program
- Help refine the structure of the intern program and manage communications and logistics
- Bring your unique spin on intern programs and help determine how we can make this a best in class program
What We’re Looking For…
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business, or related field.
- 2 years of HR related experience
- Technologically savvy, strong excel, word, PowerPoint skills
- Previous experience working in Human Resources, Administration, Recruiting.
- Knowledge of database software, email systems, and office software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Friendly and professional demeanor.
- Good organizational skills.
- Knowledge of employment law, CA and NY preferred.
- Empathy and an approachable demeanor.
- Attentiveness and honesty.
- Lives within commuting distance to the Playa Vista location and willing to come in office 2 X per week.
