HR ASSISTANT-Guidance Center of Westchester

Description Location: Mt Vernon, NY (Hybrid Possible)Hours: Mon-Fri 9am-5pm (1 hour unpaid lunch)Pay Rate: $16/hrResponsibilities: Maintaining employee files and the HR filing systemAssisting with the day-to-day efficient operation of the HR office.Assist with the New Hire process which includes, but is not limited to: All background clearances, collection of important documentation, and acting as a liaison for New Hires until their start date.Maintain compensation and benefits administration and recordkeepingMaintain the highest level of confidentialityEmployee safety, welfare, wellness, and health reporting Maintain all aspects of Paycor and onboarding.

Insure that all supplies, office equipment and forms used are up to date and available for use.

Perform other tasks as assigned by the Human Resources Director as needed Assist with special projects Support a high-performing culture aligned with TGCW core values and B.A.S.I.C Tenets: Balance, Accountability, Satisfaction, Inclusion, and C Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.

1-2-years’ experience in an HR or administrative assistant role or training.

Good communication skills.

Ability to coordinate and prioritize various, multi-faceted tasks.
