We are a small, busy office office that supports multiple geographically sites within Southeastern Michigan.
This Human Resource (HR) role is responsible for assisting in the daily operations and activities of the HR Department providing administrative support to successfully implement local initiatives, and execute regional and corporate programs.
Help to create an environment to attract, develop, retain and engage talent.
The normal days of work will be Monday to Friday.
No weekends or holidays required.
Job responsibilities: Assemble and update new hire packages including offer letters and ensure all related Human Resources documentation and forms are current.
Track probationary periods of new hires and update managers.
Support the orientation and onboarding programs.
Create new employee files and remove terminated ones.
Generate recognition announcements.
Prepares and posts job advertisements to attract potential candidates on professional networks such as LinkedIn, Indeed, etc.
Analyzes and screens applicant resumes based on job descriptions and information from respective managers.
Actively sources candidates using industry best practices to develop talent pool.
Completes all required background checks for new applicants.
Determines applicant qualifications by interviewing applicants; analyzing responses; verifying reference and comparing qualifications against job requirements to identify fit with position.
QUALIFICATIONS Education High school diploma.
College degree or Certificate in Human Resources preferred.
