– 39.86Job Duties:The Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine is seeking to hire a Hospital Laboratory Technician (per diem) to join their BURL Outreach Clinical Laboratory in Panorama City.
In this role, you may be assigned to provide support to multiple BURL sites.
Primary responsibilities include: Performs phlebotomy on patients of all ages Prepares specimens for analysis, performs laboratory functions, and assists in coordination of couriers and routes, including follow-ups on service delays Provides coverage at multiple sitesNOTE:Must be able work weekends, holidays and other shifts as needed.
Job Qualifications: A current, California Certified Phlebotomy Technician Certificate Minimum 3 years of recent phlebotomy experience performing phlebotomy for a high-volume testing laboratory High school diploma or equivalent (e.g.
