Joining (SCM) at Horizon International Cargo Inc’s exciting and rapidly expanding team, the individual will be responsible to support supply chain projects in North America.Your Role* Provide high quality service to Horizon International Cargo Inc’s Supply Chain Accounts on operation, administrative, manage inventory and improve service and revenue Contribute to the creation of industry specific solutions.Your Responsibilities* In alignment with US, Director of Supply Chain and Key Account Managers, identify and qualify potential projects that can deliver sustainable value to the company.* Position Horizon International Cargo Inc’s services to Key Accounts and create the need for the client to engage in a supply chain project.* Prepare, organize, and run supply chain management aimed at understanding client’s supply chain strategies, needs and challenges as well as their future supply chain potential.* Analyze information, process, data, and assumptions.* During the project life cycle, functionally manage virtual and international project teams with different disciplines and seniority levels.* Support operations/planning with client and deal with objections and Q& A until final decision is received.* Create and maintain business cases based on successfully delivered projects, with particular focus on developing external ones.* Use and continuously improve the tools and the methodology of Supply Chain.* At least 5 years in the logistics industry with consistent exposure on strategic projects* A good understanding of disciplines (planning, sourcing, purchasing, transportation, warehousing & distribution)* 3PLand 4PL operational knowledge* Business Administration including basic finance knowledgeIndustry* Logistics & Supply Chain* Transportation/Trucking/ForwardingBenefits* Health Insurance* Dental Insurance* Vision Insurance* 401K* EDD, FML, WC, STDHorizon International Cargo Inc.
