Hire Resolve is currently recruiting a Cost Estimator to join a client-focused team.

This is an exciting opportunity for a high-caliber individual to join and strengthen our clients growing Downtown Los Angeles office.

This is an owners representative firm focusing on large to medium scale commercial development projects.

Responsibilities:Preparation of construction related cost estimates, cost plans, and cost strategiesChange order reviews and valuations of work in progress and bid analysesPreparation of studies and plans on value engineering, life cycle costing, and sustainable practicesPrepares work to be estimated by gathering proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related documentsIdentifies labor, material, and time requirements by studying proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related documentsComputes costs by analyzing labor, material, and time requirementsResolves discrepancies by collecting and analyzing informationPresents prepared estimate by assembling and displaying numerical and descriptive informationPrepares special reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trendsMaintains cost data base by entering and backing up dataMaintains technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing technical publicationsContributes to team effort by accomplishing other duties as assigned Qualifications:Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management or Quantity Surveying or related field is requiredCost control in the commercial/institutional/Industrial sector concentrating on vertical constructionExperience with conceptual and detailed measurement / pricingExperience in CMGC / GCCM processExperience with estimating software systems, onscreen takeoff software and BIMProfessional certifications preferred Call the Hire Resolve team today on 602-833-8596 or drop us an email engineering.vacancy@hireresolve.com and our engineering team will be glad to assist.
