Job Description AECOM is seeking a Civil/Highway Engineer for immediate employment in our Rocky Hill, CT office.

Job Summary: Design tasks including horizontal and vertical geometry, roadside design and other highway design tasks Coordinate efforts of subconsultant(s) and other disciplines.

Develop and document effective design solutions.

Adhere to quality program requirements.

Assist with developing scopes of work and price proposals.

Provide guidance to junior engineers.

Perform work within budget and schedule.

Prepare cost estimates and technical reports.

Qualifications MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: BA/BS 4 YORE or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education 2 plus years experience/familiarity with ConnDOT design publications, AASHTO Greenbook, ADA Manual, etc.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS; Design experience on Connecticut transportation projects Experience with design software including MicroStation, InRoads, OpenRoads, AutoTurn, etc.

or similar The ability to attain a PE in the state of CT within six (6) months Experience with plan, spec and estimate production Familiar with Microsoft Office software (Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Outlook) Additional Information All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
