Robert Half is in search of a Help Desk II for one of our best clients! The ideal Help Desk II candidate will implement and maintain server-based enterprise applications and services, including technologies supporting the centralized management and deployment of desktop and or laptop computers and applications, and provides network and systems support for staff and the Corporation at large. 

Help Desk II Must haves:

  • 5+ years of end user support/ Help Desk experience
  • Strong remote troubleshooting experience
  • Exceptional customer service and triage skills.
  • Experience working with the following:
  • System administration supporting Windows and Linux systems in a complex networked environment
  • Active Directory Management
  • Software installation and configuration
  • Security configuration
  • Service upgrades and migrations
  • Connectivity issues

Help Desk II Job Duties:

The day -to-day duties of the Help Desk II include:

  • Implements and maintains server-based enterprise applications and services, including technologies supporting the centralized management and deployment of desktop and or laptop computers and applications, and provides network and systems support for staff and the Corporation at large.
  • Leverages Active Directory and other management services to meet the needs of departments and the Company as a whole.
  • The Help Desk II will share the responsibility for the successful operation of the systems and network devices which provide file and print, e-mail, O365/D365, Systems management, Fresh Service, Azure, and other infrastructure services in an environment of over 500+ users and projects as assigned by Management.
  • Supports servers in a mixed Windows/Linux environment.
  • Works alone and as a team-member on a wide variety of projects that have a distinct impact upon the Company.
  • Provides end-user support and troubleshooting for service-related help desk problems. Involves some contact with staff as well as with individuals and organizations outside of the Company.
