Help Desk Administrator

Position Description

This position requires being able to work in a fast-paced environment, solving computers problems for the agency.

This team member will be responsible for providing technical support related to our company’s computer systems, IP based phone system network hardware and software, while documenting the solutions.

This person will work closely with IT management to provide the best service for our employees, and contributing to the IT initiatives.

Location: Van Nuys, California

Position Primary Requirements

Install and perform minor repairs to hardware, software and peripheral equipment, following design or installation specifications.

• Respond to employee requests for computer-related assistance via phone and email and sees the issue through to resolution in a timely manner.

Maintain accurate and timely records in time tracking systems, ticket management systems, asset tracking systems, and monthly status and metrics report repositories Manage printers, copiers and MFP devices: deploy, replace toner, add and delete users, clear jams, and perform maintenance Initial setup and administration of phone and fax accounts for all users Help keep all IT related documentation up to date: IT Related Maps, training documents, inventories, etc.

Setup equipment for employee use, performing or ensuring proper installation of operating systems and appropriate software.

Deploy, replace, upgrade and troubleshoot computer hardware and phone equipment Maintain inventory of all hardware IT assets, licensing for all company software deployed to company devices and ordering new software and hardware, as needed.

Create, maintain and delete exchange mailboxes, voicemail boxes, and EPIC Accounts.

Troubleshoot network connectivity issues Setup and manage access to various company related websites Setup and train new employees on IT processes Help keep all IT related documentation up to date: IT related maps, training documents, inventories, etc.

Preferred Skills and Abilities
Basic knowledge of TCP/IP protocols and willing to learn more advanced networking concepts
Physical Actions
Required job duties are essentially active and at times physically demanding work consisting of walking, standing and lifting and/or carrying 50 lbs.

maximum, bending, pushing, pulling, crawling, talking, and hearing.

Travel may be required outside of the state, occasionally, to perform IT related support.

Physical Environment Required job duties are normally performed in a climate controlled office environment.

Education Requirements
High School Diploma required College degree preferred A+ Certified preferred

Experience Requirements (2 years preferred)
Desktop Support person to 50 users in any industry.

Experience and knowledge of Windows Operating Systems; i.e.

Microsoft Windows Deployment Server, Microsoft Server Update Services, Microsoft Active Directory Phone & voicemail, fax server, spam filter and web filter administration Spam filters Web filters TCP/IP Ethernet Switches, routers, firewalls

Technical Skills Requirements
A+ Certifications is a plus Help Desk ticketing systems Strong understanding of PC hardware, networking devices, mobile device technologies, IP phones, and networking environments are required Keycard Access Systems MFP (Multifunction Printers/Copiers) Support Networked Printers Strong understanding of Microsoft Windows 7 & 10, Microsoft Office 365 required Knowledge of Windows Server Knowledge of IPv4, DHCP, DNS Knowledge of Citrix Xen 6.5, RDP, Terminal Services (Supporting Remote Users) Ability to configure and manage WiFi Networks Experience with Microsoft Exchange Server 2 Applied Systems The Agency Manager (EPIC), document management system

This job is not eligible for remote working from Colorado.
