Position Overview:
The Head of Talent Acquisition, People and DEI will develop and implement recruiting strategies to support full cycle recruiting for project-based contract / temporary talent as well as full time employees. They will implement and spearhead diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives to further the company’s  commitment to being an anti-racist organization/workplace. In addition, partner with others in the organization in developing talent, bolstering retention, enriching company culture, and increasing company morale.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Lead full cycle recruiting efforts to source, hire, and retain key talent pipelines of temporary employees and freelance contractors for current and future projects and opportunities.
  • Collaborate with internal Business Development and Production teams to forecast, identify, allocate, and manage people resources for short term and long-term client projects.
  • Develop the strategy and execution of the recruiting brand that engages candidates for current and future openings.
  • Develop programs that improve the recruiting and onboarding process and develop metrics to identify recruiting opportunities and improvements.
  • Lead the development and implementation of a new people strategy for Imprint Projects: experimental, inclusive, non-hierarchical, and equitable.
  • Develop and collaborate on diversity, equity and inclusions initiatives. Bring professional experience, theoretical rigour, innovative strategies, community insights, curiosity and next-level ambition to surpass diversity quotas, reimagine power, and help Imprint Projects in a transformative process towards allyship and anti-racism.
  • Support, implement, and evaluate community and organization events that increase opportunities for cultural interaction and education.
  • In collaboration with our PEO, provide support, coaching, training and advice to managers and staff on all human resource issues

What we’re looking for:

  • Full-cycle recruiting / people resourcing experience, filling full time and freelance contractor / temporary positions such as Creative Director, Production Assistant, Experience Designer, Graphic Designer, Executive Producers, etc.
  • Ability to anticipate project resources and staffing needs through proactive collaboration with our Business Development and Production team leaders.
  • Experience working in a high-volume recruiting environment such as creative, marketing, experiential or similar agency experience or in a temporary employment agency.
  • Demonstrated strategic people leader who embraces teamwork with a commitment to share information, ideas, and solutions through team cooperation, not authority.
  • General knowledge of various Human Resources functions including employee classifications, employee relations, compliance, leaves of absence (LOA’s) and other human resources policies.
  • Experience and passion for DE&I efforts and knowledge of Employee Resource Group (ERG) initiatives.
