Job Description Head of Supply Chain The role as Head of Supply Chain is accountable for end to end (E2E) global supply chain strategy to ensure uninterrupted supply for Gilead’s clinical and commercial product portfolio in Pharmaceutical Development and Manufacturing (PDM) Organization .
This includes commercial and clinical supply chain management, development and implementation of enterprise systems, processes and data governance, as well as manufacturing network strategy development.
In addition, the head is accountable for business management of external manufacturing at Contract Development and Manufacturing organizations (CDMO).
The role will report directly to Executive Vice President of PDM at Gilead.
Job description: E2E Global Supply Chain Accountable for global E2E supply chain development and strategy for Gilead’s product portfolio from clinical to commercial, including supply chain design, product life cycle management, demand and requirements planning, capacity, product launches Develop E2E S&OP processes at the regional, global levels with Commercial and Finance to ensure integrated demand and supply planning Accountable for logistics, inventory management and distribution of products Ensure all supply chain operations are in-compliance with applicable regulations and guidelines Continuous innovation of supply chain operations to meet the fast-paced, evolving and emerging markets Create a roadmap to sustainable transform the e2e operating model including building external relationships (e.g.
industry associations) and benchmarking Supply Chain System, Process and Data Lead the development and implementation of ERP system in close collaboration with Finance and PDM stakeholders Develop and maintain systems, processes and governance for E2E supply chain data for Gilead’s product portfolio from clinical to commercial Drive value realization of supply chain analytics and performance metrics Manufacturing Network Strategy Lead the development of manufacturing network strategy Develop and implement a strategic sourcing governance process Supply Chain risk management to ensure resilience External manufacturing Develop, manage, and maintain business relationships and contractual agreements with CDMOs.
Institute key performance indicators (KPIs) regarding service levels and performance metrics.
Leadership of the Supply Chain organization: You will also be responsible for leading a team of professionals in the Supply Chain organization; developing organizational strategy, people/talent development, functional budget, forming teams and developing people, and creating an inclusive culture of safety, quality and scientific excellence.
Requirements: Experience
– A business or relevant degree with 20 years of overall industry experience.
Demonstrated track record in leading global E2E supply chain organization, including development of manufacturing strategy and strategic sourcing process Entrepreneurial
– high energy level with a positive “can do” attitude, ability to adapt and think “out of the box” and rapidly turn ideas into action in a nascent, evolving, innovative industry.
Ability to effectively manage uncertainty.

For Colorado Job Applicants: The salary range for this position is: $374,160.00
– $561,240.00 Gilead considers a range of factors, including background and experience, when determining base compensation.
These considerations means actual compensation will vary.
Position is also eligible for bonus and benefits.
