What we are looking for…

AvantStay is looking for an experienced integration professional to lead our post-acquisition transition efforts.

As our Head of Integrations, you will work closely with our leadership and every function across the business to ensure the success of every new business venture.

You will project manage and help drive key business decisions throughout the integration lifecycle, and successful transition our newest assets, properties and employees into our operations.

You have a highly flexible skillset and can think strategically, manage multiple work streams simultaneously, influence and collaborate, and operationally execute on projects end-to-end.

What you’ll do…

  • Partner with Leadership to develop AvantStay’s integration function/capability, primarily focused on acquisitions but also relating to investments and complex corporate partnerships such as hotel acquisitions and development where relevant.
  • Develop and own the M&A integration playbook.
  • Work cross-functionally with executives, functional leaders, and their teams to ensure overall integration preparedness, resourcing, and alignment.
  • Work closely during the diligence process with deal leads, business sponsors, and functional teams to build comprehensive integration plans, drive alignment on those plans, and ensure pre-transaction closing preparedness.
  • Lead all technology, talent, platform, and business integrations including day-to-day project management, execution through cross-functional integration teams, communication to various stakeholders (including executives), and serving as a guide/resource for acquired teams and leaders.
  • Own deal scorecards, milestones, and metrics reporting; track and own short
    – and long-term progress toward deal objectives.
  • Work alongside Finance to develop synergy models, create business cases and project plans to execute and achieve dynamic results
  • Actively manage integration risks; identify and solve cross-functional integration issues

What you’ll bring…

  • Ability to develop strong relationships with senior management, communicate effectively in meetings and describe deliverables and project milestones
  • Proven program management skills to organize and manage cross-functional projects, such as M&A, organizational change, operational restructuring, business process redesign, and systems implementations 
  • Experience and knowledge on at least one of the following industries: real estate, travel, hospitality, hotels, tourism and the short-term and vacation rental market 
  • 6+ years’ experience in a project management, consulting or internal operations group preferred
  • You are a self-starter and have a bias for action. 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business or a related field with a strong academic record
  • Willing to travel aligned with timing of deal flow
