In this role you will:

• Lead the team that drives DV global planning, reporting and analysis activities
• Provide outstanding consultant-orientated financial support and will act as a thought partner on forward looking direction and performance of the business.
• Drive improvements in planning, reporting and financial processes, teaming with BCG Global Finance Functions and specifically with the Future Finance Team will ensure that DV specific needs are considered in the Future Finance workstreams e.g.

  BIA, Systems and Client View developments.

• Work closely with the Head of Venture Finance to assess financial impact of the equity activity and portfolio transactions in the overall performance of the business.
• Be part of the DV Finance Leadership Team in charge of developing and deliver the DV Finance strategic agenda, defining team priorities and defining practices that helps harmonize the way DV Finance is run across the globe
• The role requires a strong people manager who can provide leadership, direction and support to the DV Finance Team in a virtual environment; it will require to build a strong relationship and team closely with other DV Functional Heads.
• This position requires a “hands on” person who is flexible, hard-working, detail oriented and able to work well in very fast pace growth company and in dynamic team setting.

Planning

• Develops the Target Operating Model (TOM) to support the long-term financial goals and targets
• Owns consolidation of local offices TOM, Annual Plan and regular re-estimates processes looking for trends and major areas to drive performance
• Develops the global view of plan and estimates identifying trends and major areas of focus to improve performance
• Support each DV geo to address planning challenges and how to find equilibrium on business objectives and the performance levers
• Assist the HR function as required, specifically with Pyramid Planning addressing the implications of different leverage models in the existing and future business models.
• Coordinates DV Capital Expenditures budget management

Reporting

• Develop timely and meaningful reporting packages to show DV financial results, forward looking performance, and key financial metrics
• Preparation of the monthly reporting packages to Board, EC and other senior stakeholders
• Evolve our reporting capabilities and platforms to drive efficiencies and harmonization.
• Working closely with BCG BIA team, maximize leverage on BCG dashboards identifying gaps and influencing the design on new releases
• Identifies best practices across DV finance teams and leverage them to create global solutions that local team can leverage
• Ensure consistency on Finance policies and practices across DV and influences policy making at BCG to ensure DV peculiarities of business model is taken into consideration
• Team with the DV Head of Global Investments and Practice Area Support to develop investment and return on investment dashboards that helps drive investment decision

Analysis

• Proactively analyse DV performance to develop action plans to impact DV financial results in short and long term
• Be a thought partner to Local Finance teams on analysis and business recommendations
• Monitor global revenue booked, pipeline to enable accurate revenue forecast and scenario planning
• Maintain analysis and deliver recommendation among others of pricing performance, leverage, and multiplier
• Perform drill downs on cost performance to identify saving opportunities

You should have:

• A minimum of +10 years of finance-related experience, preferable in digital tech or/and professional services, advertising, software industry
• Undergraduate degree in Economics/Finance or Business, preferably with emphasis on Finance
• Experience on developing Tableau dashboards and using Alteryx to improve reporting
• System savvy and ability to work with different applications and databases; preferable with Oracle, HFM and Business Objects experience.
• Advanced computer literacy on PowerPoint and Excel

• Ability to prioritize, multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment that has short-term shifts in priorities to meet a diverse customer base with tact, poise, and patience
• Be able to excel in a large international company culture
• Team player who is willing to be part of a virtual global finance function providing honest feedback and support in the development of employees’ capabilities
• Strong communication skills both written and oral
• Trustworthy, able to be deal with confidential information
