The role

We’re looking for a talented Head of Engagement and Retention who is obsessed with the customer experience to lead our efforts to maximize customer results and increase retention. 

Our customers’ success in regaining control of their health is our measure of success. When our Muniq Lifers create positive daily habits with Muniq, they are empowered with better control over their chronic health conditions and their lives. We celebrate their victories and build deep relationships that make us more than just a brand – we’re a partner in health.   

Our Head of Engagement & Retention will create the programs, campaigns and products that help our customers reach and maintain their health goals with Muniq. He/she will drive engagement and retention by leading initiatives that enhance the customer experience at every touchpoint, engage and support our customers throughout their Muniq journey, and turn our partners in health into brand ambassadors.  

The ideal candidate has expertise creating exceptional customer experiences with quantifiable impact for beloved consumer brands. The candidate comes with a strong foundation in product management, customer success, and/or community engagement. This individual is highly driven, creative, solution-oriented and an excellent collaborator who can work seamlessly across our cross-functional, matrixed organization, and is passionate about improving the health and lives of consumers.

Responsibilities:

  • Optimize the end-to-end Muniq customer lifecycle journey, identifying and enhancing key points of interaction with the brand across customer touchpoints
  • Leverage data and insights to inform customer engagement & retention strategy and to measure performance
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Brand & Database Marketing, Community, Customer Support, and Strategy & Operations) in launching new programs and products to drive customer engagement, success, and retention; Including: 
  1. Create personalized outreach program to proactively engage customers, encourage healthy habits, and drive customer results
  2. Build a referral program for customers to evangelize Muniq to friends & family
  3. Build and launch technology platforms (text, apps, social) that enable healthy habits and brand engagement
  4. Recruit and manage an inner-circle of brand ambassadors to promote Muniq 

Qualifications: 

  • 5+ years professional experience in product management, general management, customer experience, community management, and/or retention marketing
  • An obsession with the customer experience, deep empathy and understanding of what motivates consumer behavior
  • Experience leading initiatives centered around UX, customer engagement and retention; Innate desire to not only develop strategies, but to also own execution and outcomes
  • A top-class collaborator with experience working across functions, who is ambitious but also ego-free and easy to work with
  • Inspired to work for a mission-based and impact-oriented team that is small, but experienced and passionate
