HCM Workday Analyst ( Remote )

One of our clients in Los Angeles area is looking for a HCM Workday Analyst with the following skills and experience:

MUST HAVE SKILL SET

  • Must have HCM for Workday experience – at a minimum 3 years
  • Must have at least worked in one of these areas in HCM Workday recruiting/compensation/security- preferred candidate would have all 3
  • Business configuration experience /writing calculated fields
  • Experience trouble shooting test defects in system – hands on configuration (but no coding/scripting )
  • Instructional/presentation skills- will be presenting demo’s to large groups- training the change teams so they can put together training details for the rest of the company
  • Business experience – in the realm of HR, HRIS and /or sat on a functional team prior to workday role- we want someone who has been on the outside in the business prior to working on Workday

The person fulfilling this role will step into a support role on an in-progress Workday HCM implementation.

The following items are required for this position:

  • 3+ years of Workday Core HCM Experience required OR supported HCM in minimum of 3 different Workday environments
  • Experience in other modules preferred; specifically Recruiting, Security and Compensation
  • Experience supporting other large Workday environments (50,000+ Employees) required
  • 5+ years of related business experience

We expect this role to perform the following activities:

  • Partner with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate that into system configuration.
  • Adapt quickly to the project landscape
  • Communicate 3effectively and be a team player
  • Follow process and procedure when changes to design are required (open CRs, update documentation, get appropriate approvals)
  • Ability to bring prior experience into the project and advise on best practice

DAY TO DAY

  • This role is part of an existing team in play – we are adding to it. The project is structured that is set up that part does configuration the other team handles demo/design.
  • This person will resolve testing defects. Working with and meeting with design stakeholders, configure proof of concept. This is a very hands on role in the system. and will be required to do Demo’s.
