Responsibilities: Identify supply chain improvement initiatives; gaps and innovative improvement opportunities in Navy supply chain capabilities (including logistics processes); to lead NAVSUP in prioritization efforts in order to optimize business processes; and to develop recommendations for an implementation plan.

Work will be performed on site in San Diego, CA.

Roles & Responsibilities:
• Provide analysis of current business processes, business systems integration and transition support.

• Apply Business Process Management (BPM) methodologies in order to identify baseline functional processes and conduct and document gap analysis.

Complete a business systems integration analysis to document the “as-is” and “to-be” supply chain business systems architecture
• Apply analytical decision-making processes to propose changes in supply chain applications, policies, procedures and business processes.

• Understand the design of moderately complex information systems, identifying functional issues and defining business requirements for software development and process change.

• Work with functional and technical stakeholders to identify, define and document opportunities for process improvement in requirements development, supply chain operations and business systems.

Qualifications: Candidate Attributes:
• BS/BA in applicable fields of study.

• Extensive experience and knowledge in performing data analytics, particularly in areas that optimize supply chains.

Experience in process analysis, mapping and optimization; including optimization techniques such as Lean Six Sigma.

• Strong familiarity with Business Process Management (BPM) and Federal government processes.

• Ability to communicate effectively at multiples levels within the organization.

• Experience in using data analysis to drive business outcomes.

Provide additional information that is requested (i.e., nice to have) for the requisition.

Skills/Knowledge Required:
• A minimum of 5 years’ experience with the Federal government, with knowledge of BPR/BPM support/implementation.

• Demonstrated experience in analyzing, organizing, and improving existing requirements (e.g.

user stories), for existing and new business transformations, systems and enhancements; ensures requirements fit business needs and client compositional and functional requirements.

• In-depth knowledge of DoN supply chain management, SAP (Navy ERP) applications and non-SAP applications.

Skills/Knowledge Preferred:
• MS/MA in applicable fields of study.

• BPM or Lean Six Sigma certification
• Experience in strategic planning and execution
• Strong understanding of SDLC concepts with working experience in Scrum/Agile project methodologies.
