Gloveworx is a state-of-the-art boxing studio and athletic performance facility situated in the heart of Santa Monica, CA.

Founded by elite level boxers and expert coaches, we combine boxing training with strength and conditioning modalities in a high performance team environment.

From high-energy group training sessions to personalized one-on-one coaching, we provide boxing and strength and conditioning programs that get real results with real people.

Duties include involvement in the community, customer service, daily operations, and world class coaching.

Gloveworx has established a partnership with Under Armor that includes (but is not limited to): product allotment budget, participation in the Under Armor Coach Ambassador program and product testing and focus groups related to upcoming UA products.

In addition to these benefits, the Gloveworx professional development team will help you develop and promote yourself as an elite performance coach and build a market of clientele through social media and other mainstream marketing channels effectively and professionally.

Job Requirements

At Gloveworx we incorporate a wide range of coaching disciplines from high-intensity group circuit training to concentrated, high-energy training sessions with small groups or individuals.

Coaching in this environment requires a driving passion for helping clients of all levels achieve their goals. We are looking for coaches with a proven track record of high energy and charismatic training mentality along with hands on experience motivating, inspiring and training athletes and fitness enthusiasts.

A history in performance strength and conditioning and/or boxing coaching is preferred, and experience working with groups is essential.  

Job Responsibilities

1. Coach Gloveworx Boxing/Performance Protocol:

·      Train clients using GWX program methodology

·      Educate clients on training options to help them reach their goals

·      Continually further knowledge of GWX methodology and Sales Process

·      Properly assess each client’s needs within the GWX model

·      Utilize effective cues and techniques to teach skills

2. Community Involvement

·      Attend local marketing events

·      Build relationships with clients and prospects

·      Offer expertise at local events and educational opportunities

3. Deliver Excellent Customer Service

·      Meet with clients to regularly give progress updates

·      Record client daily training results

·      Track and celebrate client successes

·      Educate clients on additional aspects of GWX programs and products

4. Daily Operations

·      Maintain facility and equipment

·      Assist with scheduling and studio flow
