About the Role

As Global Client Lead, Performance Media, you will be responsible for the strategic and day-to-day client leadership and management of the relationship and product quality for Performance Media on a global basis.. Youll need to understand all our discipline areas and be able to lead and develop excellence in campaign delivery and global initiatives across all of Googles Product Areas. Were looking for intelligent people who can passionately represent MFG, develop a talented team, ensure outstanding delivery to the client, and create opportunities for our relationship to blossom.

Some of the things wed like you to do:

  • Take direct responsibility for MFGs strategic relationship with the Director of Global Performance Marketing and Senior Director Global Media at Google and elevating the associated lifetime client value.
  • Actively support the client’s commercial objectives through their strategic marketing planning – you will be expected to contribute across all performance marketing

channels. Ensure that the MFG offering is appropriately positioned to best support the client’s objectives.

  • Put yourself in the clients mindset: develop their business like its your own. Use everything in your background and within MFG and across GroupM and WPP to advise, action and deliver amazing results.
  • Build and develop a deep understanding of the client’s sector, the strategic issues, new initiatives and the client’s competitive position; share this understanding with colleagues as appropriate and act as the source of marketing knowledge for the sector.
  • Develop a more globally consistent and aligned performance media team across all regions and marketing.

Drive Business Growth

  • Identify opportunities for deepening the client relationship through innovation, the adoption of new marketing technologies and the use of a broader range of agency services. In particular, youll need a very solid understanding of the technologies of the modern Internet and how they can be used to guarantee marketing effectiveness.
  • Use your understanding of the broader agency landscape to contribute in all agency meetings
  • Mentor the internal team in their understanding of, and approach to, supporting the clients strategic marketing plan, and manage the day-to-day throughput of the team Continually assess team capabilities and look to resolve any gaps through the personal development of existing resource or by leading recruitment efforts Ensure that the Account Director(s) understand the clients strategic goals and support the Account Director(s) in staffing and structuring the account team appropriately.
  • Support the account team in the delivery of ongoing services where requested Coach the Account Director(s) in their own development

A bit about yourself:

  • Youre likely to have a proven track record as a Senior Client Leader, be commercially savvy and have gained several years in a fast paced performance marketing environment
  • Experience managing large technology, telecom clients and/or fully integrated accounts
  • Critically, you have deep experience of digital media at serious scale, ideally across the world.
  • Youre armed with an active interest in how innovation and technology is driving change in digital marketing and a real desire to be a part of that innovation You have outstanding analytical capabilities,.
  • You have experience with: Attribution, Incrementality, MultiVariate Landing Page testing, App Install marketing, DR Media (Social, Direct Buying and DSP), Dynamic Creative.
  • You have managed large, multidisciplinary teams.
  • Interpersonal, team building and relationship management skills
  • Analytical and comfortable presenting quantitative information in a client Tact, diplomacy, maturity in relating and interacting with people at all levels The skills and drive to be an influential member of a large, new, yet still fast growing, integrated agency to keep developing yourself and us!
