MATERIALS COORDINATOR What’s the job?
This is a critical role, bearing responsibility to keep the lines running You’ll be on the plant floor, checking systems to make sure the right parts go to the right place, in the right quantity, in time to keep production running.
Your typical duties will be to conduct Kanban audits and reporting; Escalation of parts outage information to the planning team; Tracking on time delivery of consigned parts; Communication with receiving teams of priority “hot parts” receipts.
In doing this job you’ll be an important communication link to the entire materials planning team to help drive revenue.
Your performance is measured by reduction and elimination of stock-outs that drag down revenue.
What’s required?
Strong MS Office skills including Excel, Access, and Word Understanding of Lean Manufacturing practices Minimum Associate’s degree in a relatable discipline Bachelor’s degree preferred Join and contribute in a team effort Willingness to take responsibility and “own” your assigned processes What’s in this for me?
