This leader will drive the creation of net new security focused opportunities within GBS Americas account base and work closely with GBS Partners and Associate Partners to insert security into pipeline progression.nn nnKey responsibility areas are:nn Lead and manage the partnership with Security Business Unit (SBU) for Americas to drive Americas Security Service Growth: nn
• Assess, integrate and align Americas business growth strategy with Security Services planning and strategynn nn
• Drive for the growth of Americas-based security services pipeline and win rates in coordination with GBS SS&G and SBUnn nn
• Steer strategic bids, top accounts Go-to-Market and win strategy to include necessary security capabilitiesnn nn
• Provide inputs to further GBS offerings to leverage IBM security capabilitiesnn Facilitate and align Americas security delivery activities and oversee the performance nn
• Facilitate security delivery planning, staffing and integration of delivery cadence to ensure timely and quality security servicesnn nn
• Provide demands insight for proactive security resources planning and acquisitionnn Lead the planning and coordination of Americas security communications, marketing and enablement/training nn
• Americas security awareness communicationsnn nn
• Align and coordinate Americas security marketing and messaging activitiesnn nn
• Coordinate and reinforce participation for Security Enablement activitiesnn nnYou should be passionate about major SW such as SAP, ServiceNow, Workday, HybridCloud architecture, Cloud security, Edge computing, IoT and advanced technologies i.e., Blockchain, AI, automation, intelligent workflows.nn nnThis person will have the opportunity to bring expertise and knowledge to expand white space and create new business leveraging IBM assets such as GBS, Red Hat, and IBM cloud offerings.

They will be able to lead at a global scale and infuse strategic business growth strategy and demonstrate his/her net new contributions to support extraordinary growth.

They will drive synergy to establish winning service offerings and integrate with a large group of GBS and partners’ sellers to build and execute on a joint growth pipeline of opportunities.nn nnIndustry experience required to support adoption of Openshift Container Platform and secure cloud migration and digital transformation.

In-depth knowledge with industries such as Healthcare, Industrial, Finance, Retail, Government, Energy and Utilities is required.nn nnThis person will initially (1 quarter) report to the IBM GBS Security Strategy & Growth (SSG) team.

After one quarter this position will move to straight line reporting to the Cloud Hybrid Cloud Americas Managing Partner and dotted line reporting to GBS Security Strategy and Growth (SS&G) leader.

The Americas Focal leader will work with various IBM entities including GBS and IBM Security Business Unit and across functional teams such as the Geo Route to Market (RTM) leads, solution engineers, Solution and Innovation Hub, training, marketing and communications teams.nn nnGBS10APnn nn Required Technical and Professional Expertise nn nnProven cybersecurity knowledge and sales experience in creating and winning new opportunitiesnn nnBreadth and depth of knowledge in multiple cloud platforms including the use of Red Hat Open Shift technologies, AI, Intelligence workflow and digital transformationnn nnCredentials in leading or contributing to Design Thinking, Garage, and other collaborative workshops to generate new winsnn nnStrong client relationships in Americas markets and ability to leverage security across the various marketsnn nnAbility to leverage knowledge and experience to carry in-depth client conversations providing the value proposition of security offeringsnn nnAt least 8 years experience in a business development role and working in projects related to core security domains i.e., Cloud security transformation, Governance Risk & Compliance, Identity & Access Management, Data Security or Security Operations Centernn nnExperience in management consulting and/or systems integrationnn nnSecurity certifications i.e., CISSPnn nn Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise nn nnAt least 10 years of experience in a business development rolenn nnAt least 5 years of experience in Cloud security solutions and applicationsnn nnAt least 10 years of experience developing security solutions and technical salesnn nnAt least 5 years of experience in cloud security applications.nn nn About Business Unit nn nnIBM GBS SS&G gives you the opportunity to bring expertise and knowledge to expand white space and create net new business leveraging IBM assets such as GBS, Red Hat, and IBM cloud offerings.
