Game Engineer

Develop software for games and gaming systems to support Singularity 6’s video games. Work as a part of the Lore team to develop engaging gaming software mechanics to engage players and the gaming community. Create core game framework as a part of the cross-functional team of engineers, designers, artists, etc. Program C++ gaming software and systems in Unreal Engine. Define the experience and build integrations with backend systems, such as chat, friends, parties, and matchmaking. Utilize application development, shipping games, and modern game engine methodologies and tools to create gaming applications and systems. Use C++ programming, including C++ 11 or layer to develop, debug in asynchronous code, and integrate online platforms and web services into the video games developed by Singularity6. Use UE4 engine code, netcode, graphics, artificial intelligence, user interfaces, and more to build applications and systems for Palia. Build out game features and services using methodologies in game design, application design, and C++. Build out artificial intelligence and gameplay engineering elements that determine the player’s experience b setting how the game will react to player’s actions. Collaborate with the game design team to fine tune the player experience, scale difficulty and procedurally generate content. Ensure the quality of the game software by writing unit, functional, and integration tests and reviewing the results of the tests. Requirements: Master’s degree in Game Engineering or related + 12 months of experience in the job offered and 12 months of experience in C++ programming experience, including C++ 11 or later and developing and debugging in asynchronous code, integrating with online platforms and web services.
