Alcon Lighting, a manufacturer and wholesale distributor of residential and commercial LED lighting fixtures for warehouses, offices and modern residential applications (based out of Culver City, CA) is looking for a full-time bookkeeper.Experience:3-4 yeas QuickBooks Enterprise Experience3-4 years Experience in Accounts Payable Accounts Receivable3-4 years Bank Reconciliation Experience (although you won’t be doing reconciliations)Duties: (Includes but not limited to)AP: Paying vendor bills (first making sure we’ve invoiced our customers for the bill), Catching vendor double billing.AR: Sending invoices/statements to past due accounts for payment, reviewing and presenting margins/profits to executives when invoices fall below required margins.Process employee payroll and all related functionsReviewing and cleaning chart of accountsPrepares financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends.Important Skills/Qualifications:General Math skills, Data Entry Skills, Generally accepted Accounting practices, SFAS Rules, Attention to Detail, Confidentiality, Strong verbal skills, negotiation skills, and email etiquette, Fluent verbal and written English, Should be confident and thick skinned.Job Type: Full-timePay: $42,000.00 per yearExperience:Accounting: 2 years (Required)Education:Associate (Required)Location:Los Angeles, CA 90034 (Required)
