Summary:
We are hiring a part time full charge bookkeeper in the West Los Angeles area. A reputable company with lots of potential for the right candidate, we have been in business for over 30 years.
You must be reliable, detailed oriented, and flexible. You should be able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously, prioritize tasks given, and compose professional correspondence.
Qualifications:
- Must have at least 3 years of verifiable accounting/bookkeeping experience
- Must have at least 3 years of experience in working with Quick books
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
- Ability to meet deadlines and maintain consistent performance.
- Must have good communication & writing skills
- Honesty, integrity, discipline, and privacy are a necessity.
- Team player.
- Must be able to multi-task and quickly shift focus from one project to another as needed.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Process payroll
- perform bank and credit card reconciliation
- Accounts payable and receivable
- Financial statements preparation
- Prepares and files IRS 941 and 940, EDD DE9 & DE9C, Sales tax returns
- Reports and remits sales tax deposit to CADTFA (Formerly BOE)
- Calculates and pays payroll taxes to IRS and EDD
- Issues Annual W2 and 1099
